I gotta tell you something. But it might sound odd. It will sound odd because I will be promoting another social site inside friendster. HAHAHAHA (not funny)

This site is a total nemesis for friendster, and rumors are rumbling around that this site will definitely put friendster down due to its worldwide popularity and quality friend links (quality friend links??)

It is a social site made famous by its simplicity in profile attributes and by the members which are totally rocking the entertainment scene, YES I am talking of celebrities and not just local celebrities, I am talking of Hollywood celebrities.

So I guess you’re getting me now huh?!!

So much of that ado, I am talking of FACEBOOK.

Now if your answer is no, then don’t add me, ’cause there’s no way you can. LoL

So talking of this well loved social site in which I have recently joined,  Facebook provides cool applications, way cooler than OTHER social sites. Another thing is that the interface is pretty SIMPLE, there are no fussy ‘emo’ ‘cartoonic’ layouts etc. which sometimes retards the internet connection in some computers (if you agree with me raise your dominant hand.). Facebook, as much as I am concerned, provides fewer virus or shall I say no virus at all, unlike other sites where your friends involutarily comments on you saying “you can view my camera now…” etc. (if you agree again with me, please raise your non dominant hand while your dominant hand lies at your nape…LOL)

the applications are cool! Although they don’t have blogs corners like this they have a tab named “NOTES” where you can write almost anything, no limits at all.

IN addition they also provide network games that are although boring in times still is a great way of enticing its members. One of the games were TRAVIAN, which I have played just now, and what can I say? mmm out of 10 with ten being the highest rating, I would give 6…because there are times (as I said earlier) that you have to wait for a couple of minutes so that your mission is accomplished. But its a good way of improving your nation-building capabilities and also your decision making and priority skills.

I told you it might sound odd talking of another toughly competitioned social site in this site (??eh??)

if I am not mistaken, a dilemma is a kind of problem where a person tends to become confused between two absolutely different things…

right?

or not? So I am mistaken.

Right now I am having a hard time balancing my study loads and relaxation loads. haha

Because it’s summer time [in our country] and people just can’t help throwing night outs, parties, swimmings, reunions, get togethers and stuffs…and I can;t help but join them.

If it’s not becasue of monetary constraints and pfllt! Studies. Research in particular, I wouldn’t have been in this situation. [Although I don't set my studies aside]

In my academic world, they are saying that summer is not the time for absolute enjoyment but of absolute data gathering. Yes, I have to conduct data gathering for my research and it really eats alot of my vacation time, about 60 percent of it.

From material collection, to planning, to construction of stuffs, to gathering procedures, (sigh). I can’t help but get confused. Confused of choosing the future or the past

… oh well.

I hate this. This DILEMMA is killing me, and I came to a point where I get to choose what’s more important that one or this one. Coz that one will surely bring me back to time while the other one will pave the way for my dreams.

But I guess I have to appreciate things as they are. Even this messy entry deserves great appreciation, even research, even my professors, even this whole darn dilemma. They all deserve conspicuous appreciation, for they are telling me that I am alive that I am a vital person, that I exist.

Choice is what i have, I have to use it wisely. Or else.

Choice is what we are and that made the whole universe go round.

So before I get to say stupid things, I better be choosing what is appropriate, and what I think is right.

Filipinos are like trains. Pulling at each other towards one single direction. No innovations. Train-mentality.

Actually i have no plans of writing anything related to this quote, but its just that I have though of this while I was alone walking along luneta park (mind you, “alone”) from the national library in Kalaw Ave.

I saw the LRT line1 from afar as I walk after I have bought an ice cream A DIRTY ICE CREAM i must say, worth fifteen pesos, which tasted a bit flat near tasteless  (or am I just regretting that I bought it), and though of how Filipinos took advantage of one another just to make a living…

THe line “NADUGAS AKO” kept running in my mind while I was strolling down the park as I eat that nearly tastelessly flat cone…

I realized how Filipinos are SOMEWHAT comparable to trains - trains who have direction - one direction. United? maybe? but maybe we overdo it, up to the point that there is no more room for innovations. We have been concentrated to our core values, that is, (i forgot the term but its about the KANYA KANYA / KAMI KAMI LANG system). (sounds like n_____logy   …ugh!)

We are stuck to traditions and TOO strong family ties that lead to our societal degradation, that is, crabmentality or trainmentality for that matter

Like trains (crabs) we are pulling each other towards one destination, a destination that is only beneficial to one person/party but not to all persons/parties involved.

I hope you’re getting my point, ’cause i know its vague.

We Filipinos needs change (sound like Obama), change not of the system but of the people, because I think there’s something wrong not to the system but to the people running the system (that is you and me and them and her and maybe him too).

Change? easy to say. Hard to do.

But we should be optimistic about his becasue how we do our present dictates how we/they will do in the future.

It’s either we’ll be stuck to our own self uniinovative old school traditions or move on towards a better degree of society.

Imagine…I guess it was about half a year that I was not able to write on this blog nor any other blogs that i have. I guess I have to keep up..

So half a year huh!? What has happened?

Many things had changed in me. Before I was like the man of negligence and indifference but now I think I am more minful, not minful of what they think of, but of  what other people do… All of this is because of my bestestestest (no just 90%) bestfriend (winks)

My –90% bestfriend taught me to do so as part of my self discovery…because my —90% bestfriend trains me on how to find my own self, and yes it works for me…

I’m happy that I am becoming more definite of myself now, and I think I am more comfortable now…

What else…half a year

I have fallen into the greatest endeavors that I guess I’ll ever had…DOING RESEARCH…third year is indeed the climax of any school life, and I am a witness of that…

In research you have to think always

write always

weigh things always

predict always

yawn always

but I have to enjoy this one…for I think I’ll benefit alot from it…

Those expensive yet joyous fieldtrips!

we had ours recently in Baguio, then Bulacan this coming wednesday (which i have not paid yet), and tentatively in Boilnao in this coming March…

Baguio costs 1,200 - Bulacan costs 800 — and Bolinao may caost 1,000

with a total of (computing…………..having a hard time)

I joined the cheering team and a popularity contest(ssshhhhhhhh)

The cheering team won and the popularity contest didn’t(too bad)

OK…I have not teld this to anyone in my family but yea I have joined a popularity contest. It was “Mr. and Ms Biology 2008″

Actually I have no plans of telling this to them…becuase I’m afraid they’ll overeact about it..and I somehwat hate it…so what I did is that I turned on my discreet mode…and I guess they haven’t found out yet (not until now)

4. siguraduhing tama ang email address - make sure that the email address is valid, otherwise an error mail will be sent right away by the service provider.

5. hangga’t maaari gumawa ng back up - don’t be too confident on the computer you are using and to the service provider’s accuracy on sending your mail. Errors while sending the mail might occur (i.e. computer hang, busy network, disconnected internet connection etc.)

6. wag lang isend sa isang tao ang mail punan ang mga espasyo ng "CC" at "BCC" sa pagsend ng mail - features like CC and BCC makes sure that your mail has reached not only its primary recipient but also the people written on the provided space of CC (i.e. carbon copy) and BCC(i.e. blind carbon copy)

All of my life I thought that I found myself… the real me… but after last night I found myself as the copycat of the group where I belong…

I haven’t really decided who I am… that’s why for now I would like to discover more about myself by focusing first on myself….

It’s such a shame for a second year college student in the Philippines to nbe not knowing himself… I mean I’m getting older and older each year and yet I haven’t found the real me…

Anyways, juz waannna share an kakainis at di ko napanuod ang show ng PNU Agusan na maraming nagsasabing napkaganda daw  grrrr kasi napaka busy ko lately…Kasi naman yung re-accrediatation process na yan eh,,, hmp

1. Pero kung iisipin mo kasalanan ko rin kasi pinili kung asikasuhin yung

               re-accredtation na yan ,,,

    2.    Pero kaSI  wala nang aasikaso eh kaya parang no choice ako kundi                         asikasuhin yun

    3.    Pero sabi nga nila there’s no such thing as no choice.

Haaay basat ang mahalaga nakakapagpahinga parin ako kahit parang napakwalang sense ng araw na ‘to

Kasi:

1. Late na naman yung prof namen ng first subject(7am) tapos ang malala ay nagising ako ng suuubrang aga as in sobrra mga 4:30 lang namn…
2. Next is feeling ko napaka plastic ko-stutte
3. And Parang wala akong kwentang tao NGAYON kasi hindi ko madefend and sarili ko
4. Feeling ko may dysphraxia ako (tama ba yung nagsta-stutter).

I am sooooo addicted/stuck to naruto shippuden…I can’t help but watch an episode after another…Haaaay it’s really relieving and really soohtes me..Hehehe

Although what am I watching is very late (episode 30), I still look forward in completing the whole series…

I absolutely prefer watching the series than reading the manga (I almost write magma), because in the series there’s already the sounds the voice and real raw hardcore emotions ahhh…
Very nostalgic and addicting…
Very beautiful, extravagantly done.
And the sound gives me goosebumps.
The voices really suits the characters and
I think I shall stop here ’cause I’ll just be giving a lot more complements to it
